Cookie Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how ImageTranslate uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to provide, protect, and improve image translation services.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that websites save in your browser. Local storage, session storage, and similar technologies may also store login state, preferences, or security information.

ImageTranslate uses these technologies to keep the service available, stable, and secure, including remembering login sessions, theme preferences, and basic product settings.

Types We Use

  • Essential cookies: used for login, authentication, sessions, security checks, and abuse prevention.
  • Preference cookies: used to save language, dark mode, interface state, and similar experience settings.
  • Performance and analytics: Umami measures page visits and product events such as completed translations and purchases. Session storage preserves the first acquisition source. These events exclude file contents, names, account identifiers and URL query parameters. Umami tracking respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
  • Payment and third-party cookies: Stripe, Google sign-in, and similar third-party services may use cookies or related technologies in their own flows.

Why We Use Cookies

  • Keep you signed in and reduce repeated verification.
  • Save your selected theme and interface preferences.
  • Protect accounts and the service by identifying abnormal requests or abuse.
  • Support payment, login, email verification, and image translation related service flows.
  • Analyze basic errors and performance so we can improve stability.

Third-Party Cookies

When you use Google sign-in, Stripe payments, or other integrations, the relevant third parties may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies under their own policies.

We do not use uploaded images for cross-site advertising tracking, and we do not sell your personal information.

How to Manage Cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, login, payments, uploads, translation jobs, or account features may not work correctly.

If your browser supports Global Privacy Control or similar privacy signals, we will respect those settings where required by applicable law.
